Prairie Online’s Toll Saver Service
Are you paying too much for long distance calls within Manitoba?
Do you pay $20 or more per month for Manitoba long distance charges? Do you pay extra for the “Urban Unlimited” service that only allows you to call either Brandon or Winnipeg as a local call but no where else?
Prairie Online has partnered with a new Manitoba telephone provider, Provincial Tel , to offer competitive choice for your long distance service. And, the best part is this service is not just available in Winnipeg, this service is available across much of rural Manitoba.
How does it work?
Pick up your land line or your cell phone and dial our local access number, you will receive a second dial tone, then dial any number within our Manitoba coverage area of 160 telephone exchanges. If you have used a calling card before, this service is very similar except there is no PIN to enter.
For example, if you are in Brandon you can dial the local Brandon access number, wait for the second dial tone, and then dial a Winnipeg number as if it was local to Brandon.
